During my time as assistant editor, Bruce Cooper contributed to the South African Airways local and international in-flight magazine, Sawubona, for six years. During his tenure, not only was he the magazine’s anchor diarist for Port Elizabeth, East London and surrounds, but he contributed regularly as a features writer on travel, tourism, conservation, cultural history and cuisine.
